We are both pre-service teachers at Oregon State University. We love baking, and we firmly believe that mistakes aren’t really mistakes; they are opportunities to create something spectacular. For instance, forgetting to put the flour mixture in a roulade, baking it, then making a trifle with the remaining ingredients and insisting to everyone that it was the original plan anyway.

We have also spent hours listening to Hamilton, and we believe that revolution is the basis of success. (i.e., we revolt by putting the G**Damn recipe at the top of the page *instead* of forcing you to read a rant about WHATEVER when you just wanted the recipe to a shameful combination of Nutella and Salted Caramel).
